LeMans 24 Hours, 48 Spots, 100 Entries

The organizers of the famous 24 hours Le Mans scheduled for June 22 have received of over 100 cars and while many are being rejected for various technical reasons many others will have to show their stuff at a special qualifying session April 28 at the Sarth circuit.

Cars entered are Ferrari 333SPs, Ferrari F40, Kremer Porsches, Mario Andrettis Courage Porsche, two BMW McLarens...one fo former world champion, Nelson Piwuet plus Nissan GT1, Lotus Esprit, Dodge Vipers, Peugeot Sport Spyders, Callaway Corvette and Marcos Mantara V-8s. Drivers lining up will be Andretti, Arie Luyendyk, Johnny Cecotto, Price Cobb, Jim Downing, Thiery Boutsen, Henri Pescarolo, Andy Wallace and Allessandro Zanardi.
