500,000 Ford Windstars Produced

The 500,000th Windstar minivan rolled off the 14-mile assembly line at Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd in Oakville, Ontario last week. The event was attended by employees, company officials, and representatives from Ford of Korea and the Korean Government. The Windstar will be central to the initial product lineup of the newly formed Ford of Korea. The Oakville, Ontario plant has produced Windstars for the North American market for the past 25 months.
