New Strike Threat at GM
04/03/96
Two more Delphi Chassis plants in Ohio have notified GM of their intent to strike at midnight, April 10, if the automaker does not resolve a dispute about the company's plans to shift union work to outside suppliers. The 2,700 workers asking the automaker to settle the issue belong to the International Union of Electronics Workers (IUE) Local 755 and work at two shock absorber plants in Kettering, Ohio.
