Houston, February 21, 1996 - Automotive Engineering Magazine recently named Pennzoil Products Companys GT Performance 20W-50 motor oil a 1995 Readers Choice Product of the Year. Automotive Engineering is published by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Pennzoils high performance motor oil was selected by the magazines editors and readers as one of the 50 most interesting products of 1995. The list was published in December 1995.

Thanks to our advanced technology, Pennzoil GT Performance 20W-50 exceeds tough viscosity requirements for high-performance racing engines, something very few 20W-50s can claim, says Thomas E. Floyd, senior vice president, products marketing. Were pleased to have this recognition from the SAE.

Pennzoil GT Performance 20W-50 motor oil is specially formulated to stand up to the stress of high-performance engines, resist breakdown in hot climates and help reduce oil loss in older engines. According to Floyd, it builds thick oil films to separate and protect metal parts, working like liquid ball bearing to reduce heat, friction and wear in engines.

Pennzoil Products Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Houston-based Pennzoil Company.
