Daytona 500: Results from First Round of Qualifications

These qualifying results establish only the top two starting positions (Dale Earnhardt and Ernie Irvan). A pair of 125 mile races on Thursday (2/15) will establish starting positions 3-30. Starting positions 31-38 go to drivers with the best remaining qualifying times, and positions 39-42 are reserved for provisional starters.
