Didiier Theys wins Pole Position for Rolex 24 in Daytona

ESPNET reported today that Didier Theys has won the pole position for the IMSA Rolex 24 hour endurance race which will be run at the in Daytona beginning Saturday afternoon. Belgian driver Theys set a record by running a lap in 1:41.224 minutes (126.61 mph). He drives a MOMO Ferrari 333SP.
Second position was awarded to Wayne Taylor who drives an Oldsmobile with a R&S MK-III sports racer engine. Taylor clocked a lap at 1:41.591 (126.15 mph). Third and fourth positions were taken by the Scandia and MOMO teams respectively.
