Harley Davidson to Sell RV Business

01/22/96

Reuters reports that Harley Davidson will no longer make Holliday Rambler RVs. Harley will sell its Holliday Rambler business so that it can devote its attention to meeting the growing demand for motorcycles. Harley, the sole U.S. motorcycle manufacturer, is also considering selling its other divisions, B&B Molders--a manufacturer of injection-molded plastics and Utilimasters--a commercial truck unit. Final decisions about these latter two businesses will be made by the end of June.
