Ford Recalls Lincoln Continentals

01/22/96

The Associated Press reported that Ford Motor Co. has recalled 1995 and 1996 Lincoln Continentals with "autolamp," a feature which causes the car's headlights to switch on when it gets dark and to turn off when the driver leaves the car. Ford says that a problem with the feature can cause the headlights to extinguish without warning. 42,700 cars have been recalled.
