After years of media exposure to untruthful Oil Industry anti-ethanol propaganda almost everyone now "JUST KNOWS" that Ethanol Fuel offers no benefits to motorists and the ecology as a gasoline replacement...it will harm their vehicles, that's why it has been forced upon American motorists and heavily subsidized by government bureaucrats to politically please America's corn growing farmers.

Corn Farmers you reap what you sow, what other "Truth" can you expect when Ethanol stakeholders have been asleep at the wheel, funding just an occasional whisper of the actual truth about Ethanol's long proven benefits, your industry's quiet marketing effort breeds a one way ticket for Ethanol becoming even more inconsequential then it is (if that's at all possible)

Despite the pervasive negative "common knowledge", The Auto Channel BELIEVES that targeted grassroots actions that communicate Ethanol's beneficial truth can dull, then overcome historic Oil Producers anti-Ethanol lies.

The Auto Channel optimism for Ethanol remains alive, it is built upon our plan to arm thousands of Ethanol believers with the weapon that is "truth", the tip of the spear needed to establish a vanguard of thousands of "Ethanol influencers" and provide them with access to, and a deep understanding of The Auto Channel's researched, created and published ethanol knowledge-base...proven independent third party ethanol facts...enough high quality ammunition to help the vanguard win their anti-ethanol skirmishes one at a time, and then winning the war against the much stronger economic foe.

Winning those encounters will lead to converting a meaningful number of motorists into ethanol fuel users and evangelists who believe that ETHANOL is better for vehicles, better for our air, better for our domestic tranquility, better for our pocketbooks and better for our children and grandchildren, truthful knowledge that will take Ethanol out of the sleepy dark place it now resides in.

Given ubiquitous access to The Auto Channel's library of Ethanol Truths will enable the vanguard to stand their ground in the argument that America will be better-off when a majority of our vehicles are powered by higher blends of Ethanol and when PHEV's become No Emission Flex-fuel Hybrids.

But this outcome cannot be successful without constant targeted independent third party media, timely hard-hitting reactionary op-ed support and aggressive communication of provable Ethanol Truths.

Ethanol's most important media ally is The Auto Channel, which BELIEVES in the Ethanol message so strongly that for almost two decades its owners have charitably funded a prototype multi-faceted support effort to promote Ethanol Fuel, but has reached its limit of capital, patience and excuses concerning a continuing one way partnership with the Ethanol stakeholders.

But we are conflicted, although we still BELIEVE and continue to invest our time, professional effort, reputation and capital in promoting Ethanol Fuel for free, unlike other automotive web sites The Auto Channel's singular ALL-IN pro-Ethanol editorial position has prevented our sales team the opportunity to compete for and acquire a share of the plentiful auto industry product advertising revenue.

For almost two decades The Auto Channel has underwritten what every other product marketer has to pay for; media exposure, PR, consulting and personnel involvement, for example the Electric Vehicle Industry is spending $10 Million to communicate its fairy-tale. Just imagine the size and scope of the promotional budgets Big Oil expends in order to continue to promote their brands...hundreds of millions of dollars...they are not asleep at the wheel.

Now is the time for the Ethanol Fuel Stakeholders to invest in support of The Auto Channel plan to help us do what we know is needed and begin to level the playing field and together fight our patriotic fight to aggressively communicate the truth about Ethanol.

As I publish this letter and Ethanol revenue article (see below), I get more upset and feel that we have been treated unfairly. After showing the way with unpaid-for efforts; media support, timely reactive op-eds, marketing proposals, unpaid travel for in-person representation in support of ethanol, but most importantly we have been treated as the enemy not a partner.

No Ethanol Stake holder entity has ever seriously communicated with us to discuss our FOR FREE relationship between Ethanol and The Auto Channel, No Ethanol advocate organization has reached out to ethanol's best media friend in the world to offer support.

Unlike every other editorial automotive web site The Auto Channel's singular ALL-IN pro-Ethanol editorial position has blocked our sales department the opportunity to compete for and acquire a share of the plentiful auto industry product advertising revenue, and limited what we have been able to provide Gratis to the Ethanol Industry.

Over the past several years we have provided Ethanol leaders the NEAT (National Ethanol Action Team) proposal, a detailed ethanol marketing proposal that could help make American motorists, Automotive Educators, Retailers, Car Dealership personal, Independent Repair Technicians and Ethanol Ignorant Automotive Journalists aware of provable third-party endorsed Ethanol benefits.

Unfortunately, in an industry dominated by what we have always believed, fair minded stakeholders, we have not received the courtesy of a response to our proposals...except one from the NCGA that did respond months after we presented a marketing plan based on our Automotive Segment experience in Advertising, PR, Live Presentations and Writing experience. Their response to us said that our proposal was “too aggressive”, can you imagine that too aggressive...please read the NEAT proposal and let me know if "too aggressive" is appropriate for Ethanol, an industry that seems to be fat and happy to surrender their 100 plus year advantage as a mobility fuel and is now deemed No Good by virtually all American motorists and retailers.

We can only imagine that our proposed solution to change Ethanol's negative aura and awareness may have been too ambitious for some Ethanol stakeholders or their representatives, or too difficult to explain to the various stakeholders who would have to ok it.

But that's spilled milk, So Let's Forget About THE Total NEAT! Effort until the Ethanol industry is ready to become "aggressive" and fight for what we BELIEVE.

So here goes, a product marketing program proposal that is easy to understand and provides the quid pro quo that insures ETHANOL continues to get solid media and pro ethanol supporting elements and also provides The Auto Channel with the support we must have in order to continue advocating for what we all BELIEVE is the best mobility fuel for American motorists.

The Auto Channel cannot go on supporting your billion dollar business for free to the detriment of our sustainable livelihood.

We BELIEVE the window is still open (starting with Unleaded 88) for The Auto Channel to provide the truth to the majority of American's who have not yet bought into the electric fairy tale and as yet have not been transmuted into electric car supporting zombies.

We know that the Ethanol and ICE supporters need a media ally to help keep our country on the domestic, renewable and green fuel path.

So here it is, as simple as possible, not the whole shooting match but will still be highly effective

  • The Auto Channel will provide to Ethanol, Focus of a dedicated Ethanol team, media exposure, a minimum of 20,000 highly visible banner ads daily aimed at our auto-centric audience that communicate the pro-ethanol position and its benefits.
  • Editorial support of the Ethanol position, includes both new efforts as well as the maintenance of viewer and search engine access to the thousands of pro-ethanol elements that currently reside in The Auto Channel libraries.
  • Wholesale Pricing For Hard Copies Of The Ethanol Papers 640 Pages Of Ethanol Truth By The Auto Channel's Marc Rauch, Pro-ethanol op-ed outreach to counter the anti-ethanol barrage
  • LIVE Ethanol industry event support by members of the Auto Channel Team (not including out of pocket expenses)

These 4 easy to understand steps will allow us to continue and at minimum become a meaningful starting point of support for those who recognize the folly of EV limited benefits and elimination of free world passenger car manufacturing, the EV limitation of freedom of mobility, potential life endangerment that electric cars bring to U.S. roads and the undeniable addition of complication to busy lives.

Ethanol needs it, we need it and America Needs it.
