Auto Design Leaders Will Honor Top Vehicles During the Detroit Auto Show
Which vehicles do top designers think are at the forefront of the industry? The world will find out at the 15th EyesOn Design Awards at the Detroit Auto Show on Wednesday, September 14th.
The EyesOn Design Awards will convene leading designers and design educators to determine the most significant production and concept vehicles that debuted over the past year. As one of the automotive industry’s highest honors, designers worldwide value these Awards as recognition by their peers for exceptional design.
The Awards presentation is part of the media and industry preview of the Detroit Auto Show. It will occur in the early afternoon on the Atrium Stage inside Huntington Place (formerly Cobo Center).
The EyesOn Design Awards will include:
- Best Production Vehicle
- Best Concept Vehicle, presented by founding sponsor Dassault Systèmes
- Best Designed Interior, presented by ABC Technologies
- Best Use of Color, Graphics, or Materials, presented by Axalta Coating Systems
Proceeds from EyesOn Design events are a significant source of revenue for the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology’s important work with the visually impaired and blind. The DIO is the research education arm of the Henry Ford Health Department of Ophthalmology.
