SEOUL, South Korea--Under the motto “Beyond Innovation, Into the Future,” the Busan International Motor Show will be held in BEXCO, Haeundae, Busan, starting with Press Day on June 7 (Thursday) until June 17 (Sunday).

19 brands will be participating at the Busan International Motor Show 2018, including Korean and international brands. There will be World Premieres of two models, including a Mercedes Benz, as well as Asia Premieres of four models, including Genesis, Korea Premieres of thirty models including Audi, and 44 eco-friendly vehicles on exhibit.

Reflecting the global trend of the auto industry, this year’s exhibit is expected to show a large increase in the number of eco-friendly vehicles, including EVs and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles. With over 40 new EVs and eco-friendly vehicles being introduced, the spotlight will be on upcoming changes to the global market trends of the future. As the era of 4th Industrial Revolution emerges, concept cars with autonomous driving features will also capture the spotlight. It is speculated that certain vehicles to premiere at the Busan International Motor Show also boast autonomous driving capabilities.

In addition to manufactured automobiles, there will be various shows including the Personal Mobility Show, AUTOMANUFAC, the Camping Car Show, and Automobile & Life Show taking place during the motor show period.

Admission for the general public begins on June 8 (Friday, 12:00 PM), and the show floor will be open for an extra hour on weekends until 7:00 PM.
