Kia Canada Auto Sales September 2017

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 4, 2017 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. reported today 7,819 total vehicles sold for the month of September, representing a 19.4 per cent increase versus 2016. September sales were led by Kia Forte (up 77.8 per cent with 2,030 units sold) and Kia Rio (up 62.5 per cent with 1,076 units sold), with Sorento, Sportage and Soul continuing to be very popular in the Canadian market with 1,265, 1,118 and 1,227 units sold respectively. The new Kia Niro also continued to resonate with Canadians,  with 161 units sold.   

"We're excited to see the Forte continue its strong sales and to see the all-new Rio making a splash with its great new design and our first-ever telematics system," said Ted Lancaster, Vice President and COO, Kia Canada Inc. "Achieving our best-ever September means a lot and proves that, as a brand, we are continuing to provide more and more Canadians with the quality, value and power to surprise that they are learning to expect from Kia."
