Memorial Day Weekend (and the unofficial start of summer) is upon us, and AAA is reporting (http://newsroom.aaa.com/2017/05/aaa-memorial-day-travel-highest-level-since-2005/) 34.6 million Americans are planning a road trip (up 2.4%) for the holiday.

How those hitting the road this summer can earn money to cover the cost of their trip, or at least part of it.

Roadie (https://www.roadie.com/) is an app based delivery service that’s like ride-sharing but for sending stuff. Drivers deliver items along the route of trips they are already taking, whether across town or cross-country, and can make some serious dough (paying up to $600).
