KARMANOS TACKLES NEW CAR INDUSTRY

Launches Online Car Buying Service with Industry Veteran, McInerney Automotive Group





PONTIAC, Mich., January 12, 2017‹ Peter Karmanos Jr.¹s new tech firm, MadDog Technology, and retail automotive industry veteran Michael McInerney have launched Deliver My Ride (www.delivermyride.com<http://www.delivermyride.com>), a revolutionary new way to purchase or lease a new vehicle.



³Like many consumers, I found the web to be an inefficient resource when I was searching for a new vehicle for my daughter,² said McInerney, an expert in consumer automotive buying habits, who had exited the family car business nearly 10 years ago in pursuit of non-automotive challenges.  ³Simple search inquiries always returned generic results, ranging from manufacturer sites like Ford.com and third party aggregators like True Car and Cars.com.  I couldn¹t find any site that would let me shop online exclusively and avoid the dealership interaction.²



After developing his concept and searching for the right tech partner to execute Deliver My Ride, McInerney was introduced to MadDog Partner, Mark Hillman.  ³We have launched several online companies that utilize technology to affect the mortgage, energy, services, and real estate industries. Deliver My Ride takes some cues from online travel agencies like Priceline by matching a customer¹s vehicle needs with multiple dealer offers while allowing the customer to remain anonymous until the transaction is complete.  According to McInerney, ³Unlike lead generation sites like True Car, our site allows a buyer to create a unique vehicle profile, our technology sends the profile to multiple dealers and brands, and returns the best results back to the customer automatically, quickly and transparently.  Ultimately, we arrange delivery to the customer¹s home or office so they don¹t waste time at the dealership.Third party lead generation sites typically instruct consumers to populate a vehicle configurator and sends them to the nearest dealership to negotiate. We take the haggle out of car buying.²
