With their first event only a month away, the team is already preparing for the new season. They will kick off their season at Round One of the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers/Winter Cup, December 27-30 in Daytona Beach, Florida. With a total of 19 races on the schedule, Top Kart USA will have a busy and eventful season. "We are already working hard to prepare for the upcoming 2017 racing season before 2016 has ended," says Blake Deister, co-owner of Top Kart USA. "Our lineup of drivers heading to Daytona is extremely satisfying to say the least, with 18 committed to the event. With both new drivers and veterans, we cannot wait to continue to support all Top Kart customers at the events we attend. Helping our customers achieve their goals and create new milestones at the national events is what we strive to do. Giving drivers the knowledge and power to get on track and perform with the best equipment and training, and seeing them leaving the event excited for the next one is a great feeling." Top Kart USA will be participating in three national series, including the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers/Winter Cup and the SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour. The team secured the WKA Manufacturers Cup title in 2016 for the fourth consecutive year, with a total of 17 wins throughout the five events. They will be looking to lock up the title again in 2017. The Florida Winter Tour Rok Cup series will be new addition to the team's schedule this year. Many drivers want to continue racing during the winter months, and the team feels this is the best way to accommodate clients, allowing for more seat time and race experience with some of the best drivers in the country. They will also run the Route 66 Sprint regional series. The McLaughlin family and staff of Top Kart USA have been in the kart and open wheel racing industry for over 15 years. The team has a long resume of team championships and individual driver championships, as well as race wins and podiums. They have worked alongside current professional drivers such as Conor Daly and Austin Wayne Self, who have moved up the ladder from karts to cars. The team has also hosted many professional drivers at high profile events, including Thomas Sheckter, Tony Stewart and Alex Tagliani. Top Kart USA provides the highest quality trackside support and training for tuning, driver coaching, and data analysis. "With a high focus on all classes, from Micro and Mini to Junior and Senior, our full support staff of mechanics and tuners are ready to take on 2017 with a stronghold," explains Bill McLaughlin Jr., CEO of Top Kart USA. In addition to a karting team, Top Kart USA also provides drivers a stepping stone into open wheel formula car racing with the F1000 and F2000 cars at their facility ready for testing. Test days will be offered throughout 2017 for drivers that are interested in trying out the next step in open wheel racing. Top Kart USA aims to help drivers looking for an introduction into a higher level of open wheel racing, while maintaining affordability.
