AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 27, 2016 -- BorgWarner's advanced engine timing system drives Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' (FCA) all-new aluminum 2.0-liter gasoline engine. This Alfa Romeo exclusive engine debuts in the new Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan and will also be available for the brand's upcoming SUV. BorgWarner's state-of-the-art engine timing system includes the company's next-generation silent timing chain for direct-injected, boosted engines, and helps FCA reach its challenging engine performance goals.

"We are very pleased to expand our successful business with FCA by supplying Alfa Romeo with our sophisticated engine timing solutions, as we have for other FCA engine series since 2010," said Joe Fadool, President and General Manager, BorgWarner Morse Systems.
