TUSCALOOSA, AL and DALLAS, TX - August 10, 2016: After seeing unprecedented success in 2015, The Great American Trucking Show, Randall-Reilly's award-winning trade show, is returning to the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, TX with a host of new experiences.

"This year we really wanted to make sure that the Great American Trucking Show focused on overall improvement and growth of the trucking industry," said Stacy McCants, Randall-Reilly's vice president of Events. "With free health screenings, an extensive job fair, a new hands-on demo area, and many educational seminars, we wanted the focus of this show to be about providing practical value to our attendees. Other than fulfilling day to day job tasks, this is the most productive thing that you could do with your time. GATS is committed to making trucking better."

The Landstar Fit for the Road Health and Wellness Pavilion is back again this year and continuing to provide drivers with many health assessments, services, and products they may have trouble finding on the road. New to the pavilion this year are DOT Physicals provided by Accuscreen at the discounted cost of $55. The health pavilion also includes many free services for drivers, including diabetes education, eye screenings, medical consultations, nutrition evaluations, and a mammogram bus with financial assistance for those without health insurance.

The educational sessions that are provided for attendees are one of the things that GATS is most proud to bring to the trucking community year after year. The Texas Trucking Association always provides relevant and up-to-date information for Company Drivers, Owner-Operators and small fleets looking to improve the quality of their businesses.

In addition, the Truckstop.com theater is bringing back to the stage Market Movers and Partners In Business- two miniature conferences tailored to meet the needs of fleet executives and Owner-Operators, respectively. No matter what type of job attendees do, GATS designs the show to propel their audiences towards growth and joy.

This year, GATS has completely revamped their Recruiting Pavilion with a searchable database where job-seekers can find exactly which carriers are hiring drivers with their specific skill-set. In the center of the Recruiting Pavilion is a never-been-seen-before Discovery Pavilion, where attendees can get their hands on the actual products that are being demonstrated at the show. A sneak peek of what's being offered in this new pavilion revealed a Ride and Drive event taking place where attendees can test-drive the 2017 Ford Super Duty® before it's available at local Ford dealerships.

The TA/Petro Truck Parking Community has once again been improved to enhance the truck drivers' experience. This year, truck parking will have nightly concerts by Reel2Real Rock Band, sponsored by Godspeed Expeditors, free food, golf cart rentals, shuttles to the convention center, product demos, the Progressive Fit for the Road 5K for charity, and TA/Petro shower trailers.

Additionally, the show has announced that this year's GATS concert, free for show attendees, will be country music star John Michael Montgomery with opening act, Tony Justice. The concert will be held in Ballroom D of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26. Tickets to the concert will be available on the show floor at the Mercer Booth #3033 and the DPF Regeneration.com Booth #24094.

GATS is proud to support the men and women who have dedicated their lives to maintaining the freedoms that we enjoy as citizens of our great nation. GATS is partnering with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve to host what will potentially be the largest signing ceremony of military-friendly fleets in the history of the United States of America. With a goal to educate and inspire the next generation of transitioning military veterans and the citizen soldiers of our nation's Guard and Reserve to pursue careers in the trucking industry, The Great American Trucking Show has joined forces with FASTPORT and the Texas Trucking Association to bring a military-themed program to the Truckstop.com Theater on Friday, August 26 from 10:30 a.m.12:30 p.m.

The Great American Trucking Show was recognized by Trade Show News Network's Top 250 Trade Shows. The show was also recognized as one of Trade Show Executive's Fastest 50, a list of the 50 fastest growing trade shows.
