UTC Aerospace Systems chosen to provide its world-class maintenance, repair and overhaul services to Copa Airlines

FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW, July 12, 2016 -- UTC Aerospace Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. , has been selected by Copa Airlines to provide landing gear maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for its fleet of Boeing Next-Generation 737 (737NG) aircraft.  

As one of the largest suppliers of integrated landing gear systems in the world, UTC Aerospace Systems' extensive knowledge in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of landing gear systems offers customers world-class support and solutions.

All MRO services for the Copa Airlines fleet will be performed at the UTC Aerospace Systems Center of Excellence in Miami. The Miami site is the world leader in performing overhauls on Boeing 737NG landing gear, with over 1,200 legs overhauled to date. The company has more than 54 MRO locations in 26 countries and 500 employees on-site at customer locations around the world, providing customers with the broadest aftermarket network in the industry.
