Super Series for an all-ARCA double header Friday night, July 22.

The 100-lap ARCA/CRA Super Series race will kick off the big night of stock
car racing, culminating with the Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 presented by
Jive under the lights.

“The track has a history of producing great, exciting racing and the ARCA
Racing Series event Friday July 22 under the lights will surely add to that
tradition,?? said ARCA President Ron Drager. “Everyone associated with our
series really looks forward to returning to Lucas Oil Raceway.??

The Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 presented by Jive, live on FS1, is scheduled
to get the green flag shortly after 9 p.m. Friday night. The race will once
again be part of a huge weekend of racing in the Indianapolis area
featuring USAC, ARCA and NASCAR.

The on-track activities at Lucas Oil Raceway will include USAC Silver Crown
Series open wheel racing action on Thursday, July 21, with the ARCA/CRA
Super Series late models and ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards stock
car double-header on Friday, July 22. NASCAR’s Xfinity and Sprint Cup
Series round out the weekend of racing action at nearby Indianapolis Motor
Speedway.

“We are pleased to once again be bringing ARCA back to Lucas Oil Raceway,??
said Bob Sargent, whose Track Enterprises company will promote the event.
“It should be great for both the fans and drivers, who love the Lucas Oil
Raceway oval.??Travis Braden Victory Lane IRP 2015

Last Year

Two-time ARCA/CRA Super Series champion Travis Braden, in his ARCA Racing
Series debut, came from a lap down to win in 2015. Braden, more than four
seconds behind leader William Byron with 50 laps to go, caught and passed
him with 20 laps remaining and won by more than three seconds.

“I knew we would have a chance, but the way it played out I could never
have imagined that,?? Travis Braden said. “I was confident we would get back
on the lead lap, but I didn’t know how I was going to get the lead.??

The Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 presented by Jive marks the 12th ARCA
appearance at Lucas Oil Raceway since its debut there in 1971. Former ARCA
