New 2015+ Mustang Power Packs Offer Performance, Enhanced Drivability ROUSH Performance Power Packs available for three stock 2015-16 Mustang engines PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MICH. (May 26, 2016) — Owners of 2015-16 Ford Mustangs on the hunt for an increase in horsepower and torque, along with a sporty feel and sound, can attain all three with the addition of a new Power Pack from ROUSH Performance. “Our new Level 1 and Level 2 Power Packs are vigorously designed, engineered, manufactured, and tested for high-performance reliability,�?? said Justin Schroeder, vice president of products and strategy. “Our engineers have extensive calibration experience and sweat the details so Mustang owners can get strong performance without sacrificing drivability.�?? Both Level 1 and Level 2 Power Packs include a cold air intake kit. ROUSH Performance cold air intake kits are designed and tooled in computer-aided design (CAD) to maximize available under-hood space, and are injection-molded from premium automotive-grade materials for durability. With a lower intake restriction over stock, drivers will never need to upgrade, regardless of planned future modifications. Level 2 Power Packs build on the previous packages to supply even greater torque and horsepower, with the addition of an axle-back exhaust system. The system is constructed of 304 stainless steel 2.5-inch tubing, and features ROUSH resonators designed to intensify sound characteristics while minimizing harshness. ROUSH Diagnostic Tool flash software is used to program Power Pack calibration into the engine control unit through industry-standard re-flash interfaces. Authorized ROUSH Performance dealerships can complete the calibration upgrade in under an hour.
