Saturday July 2nd is going to be the biggest day of racing at Ace Speedway
in the 2016 as the Rodney Cook Memorial race promoted by RACE22.com will
hit the track.

A lineup of divisions was released last week including a 114-lap Late Model
Stock Car race to honor the life and racing career of Rodney Cook. In
addition the Limited Late Models will compete for 60-laps, the Ace Speedway
Modifieds will roll for 50-laps as will the Street Stocks. The Mini Stocks
will run a 56-lap event with details on why the odd number of laps to be
announced in the coming days.

The U-Car division will compete in a 49-lap U-Car feature event. The race
will honor the life and racing career of former U-Car/Extreme Car
competitor Sandy Edgley who passed away a few years ago. Sandy's number
was 94 and the division will run 49-laps, a reverse of her number in honor
of her.

The race will be one of the biggest U-Car races on the east coast boasting
a payout of $500 to win. The winners purse may increase with the addition
of sponsors.

"Our goal is to make every race a can't miss race for each division," said
RACE22.com Founder Langley Austin. "Sandy Edgley was a staple in the
Extreme Car division, which has been renamed the U-Cars to match other area
tracks. This will be a special race for the U-Car drivers and I think that
we will have a strong turnout of people wanting to honor Sandy's life as
well as Rodney's and go for the $500 prize money."

Additional information on purse for all divisions as well as an
announcement on the Mini Stock race will be released in a few days.
