Hearst Names Jeff Nosek as Senior Vice President of MOTOR Information Systems

TROY, Mich., April 1, 2016 -- MOTOR Information Systems today announced the appointment of Jeff Nosek as Senior Vice President of Sales at MOTOR. The announcement was made by Tom Cross, Hearst Business Media's Executive Vice President and Deputy Group Head – Transportation and Kevin Carr, President of MOTOR. MOTOR is a company within Hearst Business Media, a unit of Hearst. The appointment is effective immediately.

In his new role, Nosek will lead the national and retail sales teams and will report to Carr. Nosek joins MOTOR from CDK Global, where he was most recently Vice President of CDK's North American Data Services organization. While at CDK he was responsible for more than doubling the Data Services business revenue while working with manufacturers and the allied industry.

Prior to CDK Global, Nosek was Director of Sales at Digital Motorworks Inc., and held various sales and sales management roles with Compuware. He holds a Bachelor or Science degree from Central Michigan University. "I am excited and honored to be joining MOTOR and the Hearst Business Media organization," Nosek said. "MOTOR's strength in parts, service, and labor data delivered via a web service creates a formidable combination in the industry.  MOTOR is poised for growth as it solves an increasingly broad and complex range of issues faced by today's service advisors and technicians."
