MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 3, 2016; In their bimonthly edition covering trends in the used vehicle market, NADA Used Car Guide analysts detailed the one-year performance of all-new or heavily revised mainstream and luxury vehicle models.

"There were several new vehicles that saw major updates or were all-new to the market this year," said Jonathan Banks, executive analyst at NADA Used Car Guide. "Not surprisingly, a vehicle that held its value the best is one that provides both utility and great performance for luxury buyers."

The vehicle Mr. Banks refers to is Porsche's all-new Macan, a five-door, 5 passenger compact utility vehicle that drives much more like its sports car siblings than other crossovers seen on U.S. roads.

According to Larry Dixon, senior manager of market intelligence at NADA Used Car Guide, "The 2015 Porsche Macan outgunned all other models by retaining 83.6 percent of its typically-equipped manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP)."
