MILTON KEYNES, UK -- November 30, 2015: Scottish judges name new Superb as 2015 Scottish Estate Car of the Year Superb Estate praised for its practicality, refinement and comfort Third-generation model delivers even greater value for money Milton Keynes, 30 November 2015: The ŠKODA Superb Estate has triumphed once again at the annual Scottish Car of the Year awards, driving off with the 2015 Estate Car of the Year title. The recently-launched third-generation Superb saw off tough competition to take the top honour at the annual awards ceremony in Edinburgh.

The Superb’s 2015 award comes five years after its predecessor won the same prestigious title. The judging panel, which comprises members of the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers (ASMW), highlighted the new Superb’s refinement, build quality and space and praised its exceptional practicality.

Commenting on the award, Alastair Suttie, Chairman of the ASMW, said: “The Superb has always been one of the roomiest vehicles you can buy. This third-generation version has more space than you can shake a stick at and gives executive cars from the class above a run for their money when it comes to comfort and refinement. The Superb is quite simply superb.”

Alasdair Stewart, Brand Director for ŠKODA UK, added: “We’re thrilled that the Superb’s design excellence, incredible space and comfort have been recognised by the Scottish Car of the Year jurors. This is a highly valued award that means a great deal to everyone at ŠKODA - both here in the UK and with our colleagues in the Czech Republic.”

The new Superb is carrying on where its predecessor left off, having already won the Auto Express Family Car of the Year title earlier this year. The second generation model won more than 25 industry awards during its production run.
