Alcantara Celebrates Italian Creativity in L.A.

LOS ANGELES -- November 20, 2015: Alcantara, the Italian producer of high-end luxury material for vehicle interiors, was the main partner in two international events celebrating Italian-made excellence and creativity in Los Angeles this week.

The exclusive events, both dedicated to great cinema, included Cinema Italian Style 2015, an L.A. festival for Italian contemporary cinema. The festival was produced by Luce Cinecittŕ and American Cinematheque and ran from Nov. 11-16.

That was followed by the Nov. 17 American premičre of “Youth,” the latest film by Academy Award winning writer/director Paolo Sorrentino, at the Directors Guild of America on Sunset Boulevard. An exclusive afterglow reception in the DGA lobby included celebrities and entertainment industry VIPs including Sorrentino and the film’s actors: Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel, Paul Dano and Jane Fonda.
