FRANKFURT - September 15, 2015: A star returns – at the Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) Mercedes-Benz will present the sixth variant of the current S-Class family and the first open-top luxury four-seater from Mercedes-Benz since 1971: The new S-Class Cabriolet. It offers a distinctive, sensual and exclusive design, the cutting-edge technology of the S-Class and a comprehensive warmth and wind protection concept, which includes intelligent climate control for convertibles. More than any other car, the S-Class Cabriolet symbolizes the passion for individual, timelessly exclusive mobility. Also on show in Frankfurt will be the Mercedes-AMG S 63 4MATIC Cabriolet.

As a second world premiere Mercedes-Benz will present the sportiest C-Class to date, the C-Class Coupé. It combines thrilling design with modern luxury and agile sportiness. Lightweight construction to reduce weight, high-performance yet efficient engines and excellent aerodynamics likewise contribute to this. Mercedes-Benz is setting the pace in the field of aerodynamics and delivers cars with the best drag coefficients in almost all vehicle classes. The new C Class Coupé boasts a Cd value of 0.26. It arrives in December 2015. The AMG version C 63 Coupé also shown in Frankfurt promises to be the sportiest C-Class ever.

With the introduction of the all-new smart fortwo cabrio, smart also celebrates a world premiere at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt. Three cars in one: at the touch of a button the new smart cabrio is transformed from a closed two-seater into a car with a large sliding canvas sunroof, or a fully fledged cabriolet with the soft top completely open. The new smart fortwo cabrio is the only true cabriolet in its vehicle class.
