- Last week to vote - voting closes August 17
ELIZABETH, NJ -- Aug. 11, 2015: Only one week remains to vote for the best name to represent each state in which megabus.com operates before voting closes on August 17. On July 14 megabus.com – the popular city-to-city, express bus company – began a 33-state (and Washington, D.C.) "Name the Bus" campaign to honor each state in which they serve.
The bus names will be selected entirely by customer and resident votes in order to choose the moniker that best represents each state. All of the bus names on the ballot were chosen because they are heavily associated with the state or commemorate a piece of the state's history.
"We value our customers' opinions and are excited to see the name they select to represent their state," said Dale Moser, CEO of megabus.com. "This is our way of honoring the customers of each of the states that have helped our business to grow."
Voting will be open to residents of states served by megabus.com which include:
Alabama | Maine | Pennsylvania |
Arkansas | Maryland |
Rhode Island |
California | Massachusetts | South Carolina |
Connecticut | Minnesota |
Tennessee |
Delaware | Michigan |
