SOUTHFIELD, MI June 25, 2015: Today, leading automotive interior components supplier International Automotive Components (IAC) was recognized as a Michigan Economic Bright Spot by Corp! Magazine at the publication's premier awards breakfast and symposium held at the VisTaTech Center in Livonia, Michigan. IAC received the award based on its growth over the past year and its impact on Michigan's economy.

"Today we celebrated the companies and individuals that received this year's Michigan Economic Bright Spots awards for showing a passion for not only their businesses, but for improving the economy throughout the state of Michigan, as well," said Jennifer Kluge, Publisher of Corp! Magazine.

From a field of several hundred nomination submissions, IAC was among 85 winners selected by an independent panel of judges' review of the information captured by an online questionnaire. This year's Michigan Economic Bright Spot award winners ranged from small businesses to multinational corporations, from companies employing less than 10 people to others with several thousand employees.

From 2013 to 2014, IAC increased its annual revenue by more than 13 percent and has opened 10 facilities in seven countries in the past 20 months, increasing its total number of locations to 101. In Michigan, the company employs approximately 3,000 people across eight manufacturing, research and development and administrative locations.

IAC, the largest singularly focused supplier of automotive interiors in the world, is built on the core principles of exceptional design, engineering, and manufacturing driven by a culture of relentless continuous improvement.
