Forbes Best Memorial Day New Car Deals

Washington DC May 22, 2015; The AIADA newsletter reported that Memorial Day is a national holiday set aside to honor our country's fallen military heroes, but you wouldn't know it from the plethora of broadcast and print ads that otherwise seem to treat it as an extended weekend's new-car bargain bonanza, as reported by Forbes.

To be sure, the coming holiday weekend is one of the best times of the year to get up, get out and go car shopping. Dealers' inventories are well stocked and automakers are dutifully doling out the incentives on high volume and slow selling models alike to keep inventories manageable and to maintain the industry's upward sales trend.

Forbes recently scoured the deals and incentives listings in each of several online car price/shopping services, including Cars.com, Edmunds.com, and Kelley Blue Book, as well as automakers' websites to unearth some of the absolute best new-car deals in time for summer road trips.

Forbes found some rich consumer cash and direct-to-dealer incentives and cut-rate lease deals being offered on some of the industry's top sellers and laggards alike.
