WHAT: To celebrate Race Weekend and the festive month of May, participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the Indianapolis area will carry a limited run of race-themed donuts, featuring a checkered flag pattern available for purchase, while supplies last. The square-shaped donut is topped with vanilla icing designed like the signature Indianapolis black-and-white racing flag. These raced-themed donuts are available while supplies last throughout Race Weekend, beginning Thursday, May 21 to Monday, May 25. Dunkin’ and race fans alike are encouraged to race into their local Dunkin’ Donuts before the unique donuts are going, going, gone. Dunkin’ Donuts Indianapolis is also encouraging guests to share a photo of their checkered flag donut on Twitter by tagging @DunkinIndy and using the hashtag #DunkinIndy.
