The Sixth Annual Better World Awards, Monte-Carlo, Monaco Honors Pango with Best Mobile Innovator Award

Pango's Global Parkathon Program Expands Worldwide

NEW YORK -- April 28, 2015: Pango announces that the Sixth Annual Better World Awards (BWA) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco will honor the company with the Best Mobile Innovator Award for 2015. The Sixth Annual Better World Awards held on May 16, 2015 at the Hotel Hermitage honors corporations, celebrities and athletes making the world a better place. Pango has also announced the expansion of their Global Parkathon Program to all cities in the world where it is used today. Neil Edwards, noted, "The Parkathon truly is a race to park each citizen via Pango which returns revenue to the city, saves drivers money and helps social programs."

Capitalizing on the glamour of the 68th Cannes Film Festival and the excitement of 73rd Grand Prix weekend, the Sixth Annual Better World Awards traditionally attracting philanthropic celebrities, European royalty and game changing corporations. The BWA, on the night of Saturday, May 16th will highlight the Global Parkathon Program due to an example already proven in Phoenix where by, Pango donated $1 for each user who signed up. Pango is now rolling this program out to all cities where Pango is being used today and will donate to each city's particular social needs.

Inspired by Philadelphia-born Princess Grace of Monaco who was a creative pioneer in raising funds to help others, the BWA returns to Monaco. The BWA acknowledges global game changers such as Pango. Gina DeFranco, Executive producer of the BWA, believes that, "the world influencers unite in Monaco, attracting diverse cultures at the black tie awards gala. Pango exemplifies a global philanthropic mission effectively using technology to help the world."

The Pango mobile system has transformed and connected over 60 cities around the world to date – consumers, businesses, and city governments – by making on-street parking payment mobile and local. Consumers can pay for parking on their phone, find out where spaces may be, and receive coupons from participating businesses. Cities are now smart and are pulling consumers back into their downtowns with Pango.

Pango is the first recipient of the mobile innovators award noted for its socially conscious global Parkathon program.
