Axalta Creates Brilliant New Color for Kenworth

Exclusive Color Shines at Mid-America Trucking Show
GLEN MILLS, PA -- April 6, 2015: Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, has developed a new color styled exclusively for Kenworth. The new color, Aurora, was featured in Kenworth’s booth at the Mid America Trucking Show held on March 26 – 28 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Axalta and Kenworth collaborated to develop, test and apply the new Aurora color to help showcase the lines and curves of Kenworth’s trucks and provide the protection and durability expected from an ImronŽ Elite finish.

Aurora is a bright orange with vibrant metallic and special visual effects that make it come to life on the road. Imron Elite coatings have been used on the Kenworth production line for decades. The same premium quality coatings are used on the production line and in the aftermarket, to help assure that repairs can be perfectly color matched at any Axalta commercial repair facility.

The Aurora color will be available for Kenworth 2015 model year trucks ordered through all full-service Kenworth dealerships.
