IRVINE, Ca -- April 2, 2015: AutoAlert and Carfax have teamed up to help dealers better evaluate customer trade-ins with one-click access to Carfax Vehicle History Reports within the AutoAlert® Deal Sheet.

AutoAlert has integrated access to Carfax so appraisers and other users can quickly purchase and view Carfax Reports as a vital part of preparing customer presentations.

"Integrating access to Carfax is another step in maintaining the AutoAlert Deal Sheet as the market leader in data mining sales opportunities and customer retention," said Brian Skutta, CEO, AutoAlert.

"Built-in access to Carfax is a must-have for our subscribing dealers, since many of them use Carfax Reports at acquisition and in other aspects of their used car operations," Skutta said.

Carfax Reports are trusted by nearly 30,000 dealers to help evaluate a vehicle's condition and build confidence with millions of potential buyers every year. AutoAlert Deal Sheet users instantly see key vehicle history details reported to Carfax such as number of owners, service history, open recalls, accidents, repair information and much more, all of which can impact trade-in value.

Carfax integration is one of three enhancements to the AutoAlert Deal Sheet. The others are vehicle and MPG comparison and e-mail template tools. The comparison tool helps users assist clients to make informed decisions about their new vehicle purchase. The template tool makes it easier and more professional for staff to send sales follow-up and retention communications.
