No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS 2015 Debut at Auto Club 400

GLEN MILLS, PA -- March 20, 2015: After a long winter’s nap, the popular Brilliant Flames paint scheme on the No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS, driven by four-time NASCAR® Cup Series champion, Jeff Gordon will make its 2015 debut this Sunday at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California in the Auto Club 400.

“We won three times last year with the No. 24 team and we’re excited about making more memories this season.”

Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, is kicking off its 23rd consecutive season sponsoring Hendrick Motorsports and the No. 24 team. Currently, it is the longest, continuous single team partnership in the sport. Although Gordon announced that 2015 will be his final season competing for a title, with more than half of the season left to go, Axalta is not ready to say “it’s the end of the road”.

“Many of our races this year will be Jeff’s last at that particular track, so it is bittersweet given our long history and brilliant track record with him,” said Wade Robinson, Axalta Racing and Strategic Marketing Director. “We won three times last year with the No. 24 team and we’re excited about making more memories this season.”
