Honda Heads to College as Presenting Sponsor of the Sixth Season of Hit Series “Community” on Yahoo Screen

Custom Honda Integrations Will Appear As Part of Season-Long Deal

SUNNYVALE, CA -- February 9, 2015: Today, Yahoo announced that Honda has joined as the presenting sponsor of the highly anticipated sixth season of “Community,” available exclusively on Yahoo Screen (Yahoo Community). Honda’s sponsorship includes several integrations in season six of “Community,” and pre-roll video ads on new episodes and series highlights, as well as premium display and audience advertising across Yahoo’s extended network as part of a one-year, online video upfront program.

Through video advertising on Yahoo Screen across desktop, mobile, and connected TVs, Honda can connect and engage with viewers throughout season six of “Community.” A forthcoming episode will feature the redesigned Honda CR-V and seamlessly blend the brand into the Greendale community. Targeted advertising across Yahoo Screen and additional Yahoo properties will allow Honda to reach, engage, and activate in-market and in-segment buyers.

On March 17, the sixth season of "Community," which has been ranked as one of the most inventive and original half-hours on television, will premiere on Yahoo Screen. The ensemble comedy centers around a tight-knit group of friends who all met at what is possibly the world's worst educational institution - Greendale Community College. Cast members include Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, Ken Jeong, Paget Brewster, and Keith David. The 13-episode season is a Krasnoff-Foster Entertainment and Harmonious Claptrap production, in association with Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television.
