SKOKIE, IL -- Nov. 12, 2014: Rand McNally today announced that its 7-inch truck GPS and Electronic Logging device pair has been named a CES Innovation Award Honoree for 2015. The product pair earned the award in the highly competitive In-Vehicle Accessories/Control/ Navigation category.
Products entered in this prestigious program, administered by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media. The award honors outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products.
Rand McNally's next generation truck GPS, the IntelliRoute® TND™ 730, when paired with its HD 100 device, creates a full-featured transportation management solution ready to meet the upcoming Electronic Hours of Service mandate (which specifies that driver logs must be tracked electronically).
