Editorial Philosophy

The Auto Channel (TACH) reports news about and concerning work and play in the Automotive Universe. TACH was created to actualize the understanding that, like the physical universe, where “every action has an equal and opposite reaction”, the Automotive Universe is a dynamic, ever-changing grid of interconnected automotive centric galaxies that are “obviously related” or “somewhat related” or “subtly-related”, all linked by a law that states; “… all automotive information emanating from within any galaxy inexorably affects them all.”

Although each galaxy has its own distinct focus and each its own hierarchy of products and services, supported by varied user and provider communities, interconnectivity within the Automotive Universe compels every galaxy to intra-act and/or inter-act with each other simultaneously at countless levels and intensities. Each galaxy has an influence on the universe and each is influenced by events, or information within any of the others.

With an industry this ubiquitous it's quite obvious that decisions regarding elements found within The Automotive Universe are made by virtually everyone, at every level on a daily basis: What new car to buy? Which manufacturer can provide the part I need? Which oil to use? Where to go on vacation? What is the best insurance? How do I maintain my car?
