PUMP - The Movie That Will Change Your Attitude About Fuel Forever - Opens Sept. 12th +VIDEO
From the Producer/Director Team that gave us "Fuel," "Freedom," and "The Big Fix."
NEW YORK - July 16, 2014: PUMP, the latest documentary feature film from Joshua Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell, will be making its long awaited premiere this September in specially selected theaters around the country. The initial presentations take place in New York on September 12th.
Narrated by Jason Bateman, PUMP is an inspiring, eye-opening documentary that tells the story of America’s addiction to oil, from its corporate conspiracy beginnings to its current monopoly today, and explains clearly and simply how we can end it – and finally win choice at the pump.
The film features notable experts such as David Blume, author of "Alcohol Can Be A Gas;" Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors; and Peter Goldmark, former president of the Rockefeller Foundation. The Auto Channel's Marc J. Rauch is also among other noteworthy figures who share their passionate views and knowledge of the issues.
Today oil is our only option of transportation fuel at the pump. Our exclusive use of it has drained our wallets, increased air pollution and sent our sons and daughters to war in faraway lands. PUMP shows us how through the use of a variety of replacement fuels, we will be able to fill up our cars – cheaper, cleaner and American made - and in the process, create more jobs for a stronger, healthier economy.
The film is presented and distributed by Submarine Deluxe, in association with Fuel Freedom Foundation and iDeal Film Partners. Dan Braun, Submarine's Co-President stated "We are proud and excited to be working with Fuel Freedom, Ideal Partners and Josh and Rebecca Tickell on Pump, a film that contains revelations that we believe could actually change perception and ingrained behavior. We are looking forward to opening up the dialogue on this timely and important subject."

In personal terms it means around a dollar less at the pump, adding around $1,500 per year to the pockets of the average American family. In national terms it means accelerated economic growth, greater energy security, reduced air pollution, lower greenhouse gas emissions and improved health. Fuel Freedom provides a big break for Americans without increasing government spending. Americans have the right to drive for less.
