Subaru Canada: Best Year-to-Date Results Ever

New June record and six back-to-back months of explosive growth help Subaru achieve best year-to-date results ever. Forester and XV Crosstrek enjoy record-breaking June with results up 12.2 and 35.5 percent, respectively. Across Canada, all regions mark best ever year-to-date sales.

MISSISSAUGA, ON -- July 2, 2014: Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced its sixth consecutive month of growth as year-to-date results soared to an all-time high, up 17.8 percent. Subaru Canada reported a new record for June with 3,536 units retailed, an increase of 8.0 percent over the same period last year.

Subaru's Forester and XV Crosstrek led the sales charge in June with 1,187 and 657 units retailed, setting new records with increases of 12.2 and 35.5 percent, respectively. Year to date, the Forester, Legacy, Outback, WRX STI and XV Crosstrek etched new milestones as well: Forester was up 31.4 percent; Legacy and Outback increased by 27.0 and 12.3 percent, respectively; WRX STI sales rose by 46.7 percent and XV Crosstrek results jumped up by 26.0 percent as well.

Outstanding sales in all regions across Canada signify a new year-to-date record for 2014. From sea to sea, sales increased year to date in the Atlantic region by 19.5 percent, by 12.0 and 26.2 percent in Quebec and Ontario, respectively, and 15.7 percent in the Western region.
