Recall Angel from Zonic Design Accelerates OEM Recall Notifications for Dealers, Ensures Timely Communication to Protect Customer Safety and Vehicle Performance

SAN FRANCISCO--June 23, 2014: Recall Angel, a SaaS-based vehicle-recall notification dashboard from Zonic Design helps auto dealers quickly communicate OEM recall notifications to their customers so they can service those recalled vehicles effectively to ensure motorist safety.

In the last 30 days, 39 recalls involving more than 10 million vehicles have been reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Recall Angel helps auto dealers manage this increasing volume of safety recalls being issued by NHTSA and demanded of OEMs.

The Detroit News reported recently that "25% of recalled cars in the U.S. aren't fixed despite, notice." The newspaper noted that, "Some car owners mistake safety recall notices for junk mail and toss them without opening them. In some cases, owners may not think a recall is serious and opt not to get their cars fixed right away — or at all."
