The 2015 Hyundai Genesis Wins Top Family Choice Award +VIDEO
ATLANTA--May 2, 2014: Hyundai's all-new 2015 Genesis was named Top Family Choice by the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA) during their second-annual signature event, the Family Choice Challenge. Evaluated at the beautiful Lake Lanier Island Resort in Georgia, the Genesis earned the event's most prestigious award, scoring higher than any other competitor.
"A sport sedan like the 2015 Hyundai Genesis is attractive to drivers who want a family car but don't want to sacrifice on style and performance," said Nick Palermo, GAAMA president. "The Genesis earned its place as 2014 Top Family Choice by exceeding expectations. Although the previous-generation Genesis sedan is an impressive car, this new model again raises the bar for both Hyundai and its competitors. Families looking for accessible luxury should add the 2015 Genesis to their short lists."
"It's an honor to receive the award for Top Family Choice for the 2015 Genesis," said Mike O'Brien, vice president, Corporate and Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America. "GAAMA is full of exceptional automotive media and this accolade proves that the all-new Genesis has what it takes to succeed in a very competitive market."
All-new for 2015, the Hyundai Genesis carries a host of innovative safety and driving assist features coupled with interior volume and segment value. An ultra-rigid rear-drive platform utilizes high-strength steel to hold 16 percent stiffer torsional rigidity and 40 percent stiffer bending rigidity compared to the outgoing model. This provides safety and compelling driving dynamics, allowing families a no-compromise motoring experience. A suite of advanced assistance features such as Rear Cross-traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, Blind-Spot Detection, and Smart Cruise Control are available. Combined with pricing starting at $38,000, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis is a premium sedan the whole family can enjoy for years to come.
