MELBOURNE – Feb 27, 2014: Artist Vincent Fantauzzo is the latest talented Australian to join Audi’s ambassador program. The award-winning painter kicked off the partnership by creating a work of art on the all-new Audi A3 Sedan in Federation Square earlier this month.

Vincent is best known for his portrait work, with his entries in the Archibald Portrait Prize, winning him the People’s Choice award three times. His most recent award was received for a portrait of his partner and fellow Audi ambassador, actor Asher Keddie.

Vincent’s partner, Asher, is one of the guests that will be joining him to celebrate the opening of his new bar and eatery, La Chinesca, in Melbourne this week.

The Audi A3 Sedan that was painted in Federation Square will be proudly displayed at the entrance to La Chinesca to mark the beginning of his partnership with Audi.

Audi Australia’s Managing Director, Andrew Doyle, said that Audi is excited to welcome Vincent to the brand, as he is such a strong fit with the company’s arts sponsorships.

“Vincent is a great addition to our team of brand ambassadors. Audi is a long time supporter of the arts and Vincent’s creativity and arresting style is the perfect match for the Audi brand. He is progressive and innovative and we value these qualities in our business,” Mr Doyle said.

As part of Audi’s Ambassador program, Vincent joins a small selection of successful Australians who are strongly linked to the brand’s values. The program was created in 1998 to align with Audi’s core values of sportiness, progressiveness and sophistication.
