ALPHARETTA, Ga., Jan. 31, 2014 -- Concours d'Elegance events offer an unforgettable opportunity for automotive enthusiasts to get up close and personal with custom coach built, show cars, prototypes and cars with exceptional histories. Mascot Magazine, a new magazine series, now brings this experience in print and directly into the hands of any collectible car fan.

A hallmark of the 100-page publication is rich, full-page and double-page photography, making Mascot feel more like a collectible coffee table book than the typical automotive publication. Editor/Publisher, Jim Pixley, is dedicated to presenting collectible automobiles in a wholly unique way.

"Each car is a true work of art, and we want to present them in that way. Our mandate is to essentially bring unique feature stories and stunning imagery into one magazine – much like a print version of a Concours d'Elegance event," he says.

Continuing, "Five feature stories will be included with each issue, with each feature comprising around eighteen pages of bold photography, car stories and histories, giving our readers the opportunity to explore the world's rarest cars in fantastic detail. Mascot was created for those who share a passion for extraordinary automobiles. We offer our readers unparalleled access to the cars they love."

Five feature stories in Issue Number One cover a Concours d'Elegance event and four very rare automobiles. 'A Day with the Legendary Duesenbergs,' features the Duesenbergs honored at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Rare automobiles featured include a 1933 Packard Super 8 Sport Phaeton purchased for the Fire Chief of Albany, New York, a 1947 Delahaye 135 M/Chapron, the 1953 Hudson Italia Prototype and the 1957 Rolls-Royce EX 44/Hooper – an experimental car with the marque's first production V8 engine.

"We are passionate about continuing to bring our readers the world's most collectible automobiles and presenting them in a way that allows our readers to experience each car we feature as if they were with the car in person," Pixley adds.

Mascot Magazine is offered exclusively through the publication's official website, with Issue Number One on sale for just $14.99. For more information, visit: Mascot Magazine.
