LOS ANGELES and WASHINGTON--Jan. 9, 2014: The Los Angeles Auto Show (LA Auto Show®) and CTIA-The Wireless Association announced today a partnership that will spotlight the emerging connected car space to a global wireless and mobile audience, as well as bring a preview of the LA Auto Show's Connected Car Expo® to CTIA 2014™ at Super Mobility Week. Super Mobility Week debuts September 9, 10 & 11 at the Las Vegas Sands Expo & Convention Center, three months prior to the LA Auto Show Press Days and the main Connected Car Expo, Nov 18, 19 & 20.

As part of the partnership, the LA Auto Show will bring the world's top auto makers leading the way in car connectivity together with CTIA's members, exhibitors and attendees who are leaders in the wireless industry and many of whom provide the infrastructure and hardware enabling all aspects of the connected car. The CCE section at Super Mobility Week will feature a dedicated pavilion space as well as two connected car panel sessions, to be hosted within the CTIA Thought Leadership program.

"The connected car is a perfect example of the U.S. wireless industry's leadership in innovation. By partnering with the LA Auto Show, one of the preeminent and knowledgeable groups on cars, attendees will be able to network and identify business opportunities, as well as see first-hand what's next for connected cars," said Robert Mesirow, CTIA vice president and show director.

CCE is a comprehensive three-day expo and one-day conference for automotive and technology companies held in conjunction with the LA Auto Show, which combines the global industry stature and media power of the LA Auto Show Press Days with a unique thought leadership forum consisting of the top influencers in the connected car space. The Expo creates a stage for automotive and technology companies to make news, introduce their latest innovations and gain insight to the future of the connected car via first-class conversations and networking events.

The cornerstone events of Super Mobility Week are CTIA 2014 that will feature the leaders, experiences and ideas that are transforming the future of wireless and MobileCON, which is the trade show for the IT professionals. The partnership between the LA Auto Show's CCE and CTIA 2014 means in-depth expertise and know-how from the executives leading the automotive and wireless industries. LA Auto Show's CCE will help bring the next big thing in mobile and the automotive world to the largest technology event as the two help drive the future of mobility forward.

"We are grateful for the opportunity to join forces with CTIA and bring these two evolving industries together on such a global platform," said LA Auto Show President, Lisa Kaz. "This partnership will allow us both showcase the latest and greatest in the connected car space and also give a teaser as to what's to come at this year's CCE at the LA Auto Show."

Over the next few months, the LA Auto Show and CTIA will be announcing additional details including panel session topics and leading industry participants. For additional information on CCE and LA Auto Show, please visit ConnectedCarExpo.com and LAAutoShow.com.
