Rolls-Royce Supports Enthusiasts At The NEC Classic Motor Show
GOODWOOD - Nov 15, 2013: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is delighted to support the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club at this year’s Classic Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham, England. The Club’s popular show stand will, for the first time, feature a unique Rolls-Royce Phantom spaceframe and cut-away V12 engine. The fabulous pink FAB1 Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase will also be on display.
Rolls-Royce Phantom celebrates ten years of production in 2013, with the first car handed over to its new owner at one minute past midnight on 1 January 2003. Phantom is celebrated as a modern classic, combining timeless design with handcrafted luxury and innovative, leading-edge technology. The spaceframe and engine on display will allow visitors to the show to see ‘under the skin’ of this iconic motor car for the first time, and engineers from the manufacturing plant will be on hand to answer questions.
Andrew Ball, Corporate Communications Manager, said: “We are delighted to support the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts’ Club at this year’s Classic Motor Show. We celebrate the enduring appeal of Phantom alongside its stablemate, Ghost – both hand-crafted at the Home of Rolls Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex. The FAB1 project has raised thousands of pounds for Breast Cancer Care to date, and we aim to continue this momentum by providing the car for fantastic events like the Classic Motor Show.”
Headed by Chris Evans, the FAB1 Million project is aiming to raise one million pounds for Breast Cancer Care. The pink bespoke Ghost Extended Wheelbase provided by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has made appearances at exclusive events across the world as well as being available for hire for special days, with all proceeds directly benefiting Breast Cancer Care.
