Hyundai and Carlton Football Club Renew Partnership

SYDNEY – Nov 13, 2013: Hyundai Motor Company Australia has announced the extension of its major sponsorship of the Carlton Football Club for a further four years. It means Hyundai will remain Carlton’s Joint Major Partner, and the official vehicle supplier of the team, until the end of the 2017 AFL Premiership season.

The occasion was celebrated at the club’s home ground, Visy Park, and coincided with the arrival of new star recruit Dale ‘Daisy’ Thomas who has joined the Blues on a 4-year contract.

Carlton Football Club and Hyundai Motor Company have created an enduring partnership based on shared values of inclusiveness, fairness, belonging and a strong commitment to their supporters. The association commenced in 1995 and in that same year the club won its 16th AFL Premiership.

In the same period, Hyundai has achieved leader board success, almost tripling its annual sales while winning numerous awards and accolades from the automotive industry and consumers. Today the company is recognised as the fastest growing automotive brand globally, and ranks fourth in Australia for total car sales.
