MIAMI--September 25, 2013: Ryder System, Inc. , a leader in commercial transportation and supply chain management solutions, today announced that it will serve as a general sponsor of the Green Fleet Conference & Expo October 1-2, 2013, at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Ariz. The conference provides an expert resource for vehicle and truck fleet professionals to learn new strategies for lowering cost of ownership, improving fleet efficiency, and staying up-to-date with the industry's latest technological advances.

The Green Fleet Conference & Expo offers two full days of keynote presentations, workshops, seminars, and panel discussions tailored for fleet professionals that integrate an environmentally-friendly component into their operations. Attendees will hear from industry experts on topics such as funding, infrastructure, best practices, and case studies, as well as insight into legislative issues and forward-thinking ideas for moving with advances in technology. In addition to the educational aspect, the event will provide attendees with a networking agenda designed to connect them with the most influential group of fleet management professionals in the nation.

The conference and expo will include a “brick and mortar” marketplace with an expanded exhibit hall, featuring the latest product technology innovations and services the green fleet industry has to offer. And for the third year in a row, the event will give participants the opportunity to experience first-hand the latest alternative fuel vehicles, representing all fuel types.
