WHITLEY, UNITED KINGDOM – Sept 23, 2013: Cyclists across the UK will have the opportunity to Ride like a Professional in association with Jaguar and Team Sky at organised events between 21st September and 13thOctober.

Keen cyclists are invited to join a group ride from their local Jaguar dealership. In total, 15 rides are being organised by Jaguar across the country to celebrate their partnership with Tour de France-winning Team Sky.

The rides will take place in Welwyn Garden City, Guildford, Luton, Woodford (London), West Sussex, Southampton, Plymouth, Truro, Bristol, Newcastle, Houghton-le-Spring (Tyne and Wear), Stockton-on-Tees, Wilmslow, Stoke-on-Trent and Worcester.

Cyclists that join the rides will be able to experience the Jaguar XF Sportbrake, the car that supported Team Sky to two Tour de France victories with Sir Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome.

The Jaguar XF Sportbrake is the most versatile derivative of the award-winning Jaguar XF. It is driven by Jaguar's refined, powerful and efficient range of four-and six-cylinder turbo-diesel engines and represents a compelling combination of sporting dynamics and practicality.

Two cyclists from each organised ride will be selected by Jaguar to compete in a Grand Final event, held on 29th October, at a private test facility in Warwickshire. Participants will have the opportunity to be driven by professional racing drivers in a range of Jaguar 'R' and 'R-S' vehicles, as well as the new F-TYPE, and test their own driving skills against the clock in the Directeur Sportif Challenge.

The Directeur SportifChallenge will test the driving skills required to support a professional cycling team in a challenging environment.

The selected riders from across the country will also compete in a cycling time trial challenge, with the top two participants’ combined cycling and driving times winning a once in a lifetime trip to Team Sky’s winter training camp in Majorca.
