The Smart Car Wash Is The World's First LEED Certified Car Wash

WOODBRIDGE, VA--Sept. 4, 2013: The Smart Car Wash, the world's first LEED certified car wash is committed to providing meaningful opportunities for local young teens. With the support of staff and local community, The Smart Car Wash stepped forward to provide teens with summer work opportunities and rich professional experiences.

The Smart Car Wash succeeded in creating an exciting paid summer intern program for twelve lucky children from Woodbridge who are "learning while earning." The teens have been engaged in a wide array of work experiences from sales, cashiering, marketing, and operations.

"The interns are very fast learners and we've received great feedback from customers about them. They have proven to be hard-working and dedicated and we are delighted that they have had this unique opportunity to become involved in all aspects of our business to learn valuable skills," said Suzanne Behrens, owner of the Smart Car Wash. "Investing in our local community has always been a core value for us and we are excited that we brought these bright students on board this summer. Our business has benefitted tremendously from this program and these bright young minds have provided us with innovative ideas and a fresh perspective."
