Feature-packed Tiguan 118TSI now available with 6-speed DSG

MELBOURNE – Aug 9, 2013: With the introduction of Model Year 2014, the front-wheel drive Tiguan range now offers all the features of the 118TSI Tiguan with the convenience of a 6-speed DSG transmission.

With BlueMotion Technologies such as the Start/Stop System and Brake energy recuperation as standard, the Tiguan 118TSI DSG returns excellent combined fuel consumption figures of 7.3l/100km when paired with the 6-speed DSG. It is powered by a TSI twin-charged petrol engine which develops 118kW at 5,800rpm and 240Nm of torque from 1,500rpm to 4,000rpm.

The Tiguan 118TSI DSG is produced in Wolfsburg, Germany. It is equipped with a long list of safety features, such as Electronic Stabilisation Program (ESP), Brake Assist and six airbags, as well as standard convenience features such as Daytime Driving Lights, Auto Hold, Cruise Control, Bluetooth Connectivity with music streaming and a multi-function leather steering wheel. Customers can also option their Tiguan 118TSI with the innovative Park Assist 2 – parking bay and parallel parking assistance system.
